Self-Love & Balance

Why have I decided to choose self-love and balance as my focus moving forward?


For me, this goes hand in hand with yoga. I came to yoga during the first few years of my self-discovery path, and I fell in love with how it made me feel about myself, others, and life. Yoga was a tool I could tap into to explore, play and learn more about myself and the world around me. When I'm feeling disconnected or imbalanced, yoga, breathwork and meditation helps me reconnect to who I am and find that inner peace that my whole self is calling out for.


Do I think you can find balance in all aspects of life, all the time? No. Do I think you can find moments of balance? Yes.


If life is hectic right now, because you have a baby, or a busy job, it's about making sure that you're finding the time to implement self-care and rest into your day, in order to find moments of balance.


This could look like 10 minutes of breathwork or movement, taking a short walk and trying to focus on being present, reading a book, having a bath, or eating a nourishing meal. It's finding a way to fit self-care into your life, so that you ultimately find and maintain self-love and balance.


The focus I will have moving forward is to help my community find and maintain self-love and balance, through the power of yoga, breathwork and meditation.
